Wonder Woman: Rebirth Deluxe Edition by Greg Rucka, Liam Sharp (Illustrator) , Nicola Scott (Illustrator) , Bilquis Evely (Illustrator)
The Woman in the Window by A.J Finn
“Reading one book is like eating one potato chip.” – Diane DuaneSo I read this before the scandal broke. I enjoyed the story a lot, it was Rear Window, but as a fan of old movies myself I really enjoyed all the movies that were mentioned through out the book. I wasn't able to guess what was going to happen, which is a good thing.
On Goodreads I gave it a 5 star rating but it's really more of a 4.5.
I'm glad that I read the book before the movie so that I knew who was playing which character in the book, so that I wouldn't be disappointed when the movie came out and a character wasn't how I pictured them.
Popsugar challenge/LEP Challenge- A book becoming a movie in 2019
“Never trust anyone who has not brought a book with them.” – Lemony Snicket
I decided to try a blog again, and after about 30 minutes of trying to update the template on my old reading blog I gave up and decided to start a new one. So in the upcoming post I will be posting the about the books I am reading through out the year. I may move over the content of the old blog and get rid of it all together.
Like last year I am participating in a reading challenge that is set up like a video game, there are 9 Worlds with varying number of levels and a boss level. This is run by the penpal group I am a member of called LEP (League of Extraordinary Penpals) and I will attempt the 2019 Popsugar reading challenge. Last year I completed 115 books with a goal of 70. One of the stand out books last year was The 7 1/2 Death of Evelyn Hardcastle and Night Film. Two of my least favorite reads of last year were Beauty is a Wound by Eka Kurniawan and Sin by F. Sionil José.
I'm excited to discover new books and maybe reread some favorites this year.
